About Thunder Rush

Thunder Rush is the newest addition to the GoldenBlue Racing family. A 3-year-old bay gelding, he has joined Susan Corbett’s yard in Otterburn, Northumberland, where the next chapter of his racing career begins.

Pedigree
Thunder Rush is by Mohaather, winner of the Group 1 Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood. His dam is Dominike, a daughter of the Group 1 winner Duke of Marmalade. He was bred by Brookside Stud.

His racing so far
Thunder Rush had five runs on the Flat during 2026, at Newcastle, Southwell and Ayr, and has now earned a handicap mark. That opens up a range of handicap options as he starts out with his new team.

Your trainer: Susan Corbett
Susan trains from her yard in Otterburn, Northumberland, where she has built her operation from two horses to around 30 in training, backed by a dedicated team of five. Her yard is known for getting the best out of every horse, and for putting the horses first in everything they do.

What’s next
Thunder Rush will settle in at Otterburn first. Susan will then map out his plans, and members will be the first to hear through weekly updates from the yard.
