Meet Thunder Rush: Our Newest Horse
Updated: 7 days ago
We're delighted to welcome a new horse to the GoldenBlue Racing family. Thunder Rush, a 3-year-old bay gelding, has joined Susan Corbett's yard in Otterburn,
Northumberland – and shares are available now from just £40.

Bred for the Job
Thunder Rush is by Mohaather, winner of the Group 1 Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood – one of the most prestigious mile races in Europe.
His dam is Dominike, a daughter of the Group 1 winner Duke of Marmalade, and he was bred by Brookside Stud. That's a pedigree with quality on both sides.
His Racing So Far
Thunder Rush had five runs on the Flat during 2026, racing at Newcastle, Southwell and Ayr, and he has now earned an official handicap mark.
That mark opens up a wide range of handicap races for him, and gives Susan plenty of options as she plans the next chapter of his career.

A New Home with Susan Corbett
Thunder Rush is now in training with Susan Corbett, whose yard in Otterburn, Northumberland has grown from two horses to around 30, backed by a dedicated team of five.
Susan's yard is known for putting the horses first and getting the best out of every one of them – exactly the environment we want for Thunder Rush as he settles in.
You can read more about Susan and her yard in our recent interview, Meet the Trainer: Susan Corbett.

What Happens Next
Thunder Rush will settle into his new routine first, then Susan will map out his plans. Members will be the first to hear everything through weekly updates and video from the yard.
